Cable Bay Awatere Valley Chardonnay 2014

Orange blossom, lemon cake and macadamia, with little hints of basil adorn the nose. The palate has a stony minerality that is found in all our whites from this vineyard. It is deeply refreshing, with lovely texture and great complexity. The flavours resonate and linger on the finish for an age; delicious. Enjoyable upon release and over the next 4-5 years.

Carrick Wines Excelsior Pinot Noir 2014

An intense nose showing floral aromatics, black cherries, plum and a touch of spice from the barrels providing a beautifully integrated wine. The front palate is layered with dark fruits, oriental spice and complex savoury flavours which support the fine grained tannins. Dark fruited, juicy, savory, mid palate, Showing approachable, lingering tannins. Definitely an every night of the week wine. Homemade pizza with a rich tomato and basil sauce, feta, kalamata olives, chorizo and fresh rocket, topped off with cracked black pepper.
