A healthy pale straw colour.
Delicate aromatics – honeysuckle, lemon-blossom, lychee, white pear, quince and a touch of cinnamon on the nose. Definitively Viognier.
The palate has rich and vibrant fruit alongside the touch of limestone minerality that has become the de la terre trademark. The mid-palate is ‘fleshy’ without being ‘fat’. A light seam of acidity brings freshness and life to the fruit and counters any tendency towards being ‘soapy’ or cloying. A long, clean and refreshingly dry finish.
Enjoy lightly chilled with light finger food or on its own in the sun!
