The Domaine Drouhin-Vaudon 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons is a remarkable expression of one of the most celebrated Premier Cru vineyards in Chablis. Located just south-west of the village of Chablis, this vineyard benefits from excellent exposure to the sun and the Kimmeridgian limestone soil, rich in marine fossils. These conditions bestow the wine with the iconic Chablis character—mineral-driven and brisk. The historic revitalisation of the region by Robert Drouhin in the 1960s, after it had been ravaged by phylloxera, has brought the unique terroir of Chablis back to life. The wine is aged for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel, ensuring a pure expression of the terroir with exceptional clarity and depth.
