Planted in Dijon clones from 9 year old vines, close planted on a 30° North-West facing steep slope sustainably managed with minimum mechanical intervention. The soil has high iron content sandstone with no irrigation. The ‘Maybern’ vineyard is situated above the cellars. Hand harvested and destemmed with a small portion of whole clusters, wild yeast fermented to 13.5% alc.
‘Maybern’ is a tribute to May and Bernard, Warwick’s parents.
