Unknown a decade ago, Central Otago has impacted on the National and International wine scene gaining recognition as a superior cool climate wine region. A pioneer vineyard in Central Otago, Bill & Gillian Grant planted Pinot Noir clones from Pommard and Dijon In 1973 with the first commercial production in 1987 which was quickly sold from the small vineyard.

William Hill Winery and Vineyards lie on the western outskirts of Alexandra where in the sun soaked, free draining locations and dry summers combine to produce superior quality fruit. Our award winning wines reflect the characteristics of all Central Otago fruit, clean intense flavours.
The wine is also served at our new café 'Shaky Bridge Café.
