Schubert Wines was established in 1998 by Kai Schubert, a graduate of Geisenheim Viticulture and Oenology University in Germany. Through Schubert Wines, Kai and his partner Marion Deimling are realising their dream of operating their own vineyard and winery. Recently Schubert was nominated “Newcomer of the Year 2006” by WeinGourmet/Feinschmecker magazine, one of Europe’s most important wine and food publications. Schubert Wines specialises in the production of high quality Pinot Noir. It also produces a number of other styles including Cabernet style, Syrah and Chardonnay wines. Its Cabernet Sauvignon 1999 was awarded a gold medal at the Royal Easter Wine Show 2002. Schubert Wines can be purchased direct from the winery, by internet and from specialist wine shops.
