Neudorf Vineyards, situated in the Upper Moutere Valley of Nelson, was established by Tim and Judy Finn in 1978. Neudorf Vineyards is credited with producing one of New Zealand's best Chardonnay's. It also has an international reputation for the quality of its other Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris wines. UK wine writer for the Independent, Anthony Rose, described Tim Finn's Chardonnay as 'New Zealand's convincing answer to premier cru Puligny Montrachet'. It is a powerful Chardonnay made from ripe fruit and exposed to the softening effects of melolactic fermentation.
