Mahurangi River is the dream of the Vujnovich family. The vineyard is a traditional hands on vineyard with hand crafted wines.

The number of varietals has been limited to what is best suited to our microclimate. Chardonnay, Syrah and Bordeaux style reds. Only grapes grown on the property are used in our wines.

Our plan is to make wine that we are proud of, to achieve this we will grow the best grapes, selecting and only using those that will produce the best wine. The same goes for the wine making, best people, best methods and only then, if the product is good enough will it get our label.
