
Fenton Estate is a small Waiheke Island winery located in Oneroa. The winery's Twin Bay's Vineyard was established in 1989 by Barry and Meg Fenton. Like other Waiheke vineyards, they specialise in Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec grapes. These are then crafted into traditional Bordeaux style wines by wine makers John Hancock, of Trinity Hill, and David Evans, of Passage Rock. Top of the range is the 'Fenton' followed by the 'Fenton Matt' and a drink now wine called the 'Red'. Fenton Estate wines are available from the wineryand exported to Australia and Brazil.
